Project Re-Evaluation Update

Since the April 2006 public meeting, the Consultant Team together with PennDOT, the Lancaster County Planning Commission and the Federal Highway Administration are working to determine which alternatives will be studied in detail in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (Draft EIS). This determination will be based on the ability of the alternative to meet the identified transportation needs, engineering and traffic considerations, costs, environmental and community impacts, the ability of the alternative to satisfy land use goals, and on input from the public. The Draft Environmental Impact Statement is tentatively scheduled to be circulated in the Fall 2007. A list of locations where the document can be reviewed will be posted on this website.
